The Local Government Employers have now responded to the claim from the unions by offering a 1.5% increase to all grades, effective from 1st April 2021.
They have also proposed an immediate start to explore:
1) a national minimum agreement on homeworking
2) an agreement on a best practice agreement on mental health support for all staff
3) a joint review of the provisions for maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave.
